Transportation and Parking

You are responsible for providing your own transportation to and from the CIA.  This includes air and/or ground transportation from your place of residence and daily ground transportation.

Dress Code

Chef’s uniforms should be worn on the day you are participating in the Hands-On Kitchen Workshops.   If you do not have a chef coat, we will provide an apron. Kitchen Workshop attendees also need to wear full length pants and non-skid, low heeled closed toe shoes for these activities.  Suggested dress code for all other activities is business casual attire. Northern California often experiences mild temperatures in April, with the evenings often becoming chilly, so come prepared with layers for warmer and cooler environments so that you can adjust your own temperature accordingly.

What to Bring

Attendees are not required to bring knives for any session during this program, including the hands-on kitchen workshops. Any required tools will be provided.

We recommend you bring the following items with you when attending the Global Plant-Forward Culinary Summit:

  • A refillable water bottle (for use during the conference)

  • A pen and paper or a tablet computer (for taking notes)

  • Business cards (for networking)
