Scott Giambastiani

Program Manager, Food at Google l Mountain View, CA

Scott Giambastiani is chef and program manager for Food at Google. He is a Bay Area native, who started his career in the kitchens of The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton San Francisco, The Lark Creek Inn in Marin County, and Viognier atop the Draeger’s Marketplace under top chefs including Bradley Ogden, Gary Danko, and Sylvain Portay before coming to Google in 2006 to succeed Google’s first chef. As executive chef in the early 2000’s with just a handful of cafes, Scott was initially tasked with growing the Bay Area food team. In 2013, he was appointed global program chef and operations manager to help scale the operation to over 200 plus sites in 150 cities and 45 countries.
